According to an aspect of the present invention, an improved vertical gang comprises: a body vertically formed downwards from the ground for running water to flow thereinto; a drain tunnel connected to the body for discharging the running water flowing into the body; an upper reduction device provided in the body to reduce potential energy and kinetic energy of the running water flowing into the body; and a lower reduction device provided at a lower portion of the upper reduction device to again reduce the potential energy and the kinetic energy of the running water of which the potential energy and the kinetic energy are reduced through the upper reduction device.
본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 개선형 수직갱은 지면에서 하 방향으로 수직으로 형성되어 유수가 유입되는 본체와, 상기 본체와 연결되어 본체에 유입된 유수를 배출하는 배수터널과, 상기 본체의 내부에 구비되어 상기 본체에 유입된 유수의 위치 및 운동에너지를 감세시키는 상부감세장치와, 상기 상부감세장치의 하부에 구비되어 상기 상부감세장치를 통해 감세 된 유수의 위치 및 운동에너지를 재차 감세시키는 하부감세장치를 구비할 수 있다.
