CABLE FIXING APPARATUS USING BALL JOINT CARDAN AND WEDGE FIXING PART AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME
The present invention relates to a cable mounting apparatus using a ball joint cardan, which is a separable saddle installed on a tower of a cable-stayed girder bridge or an extradosed bridge, which is able to individually disperse and insert cable strands into a circular steel pipe, to remove compressed stress and fretting fatigue in between the strands inside the separable saddle, to remarkably reduce and disperse a stress concentration inducing a hazardous crack on the tower, to place taper-shaped strand insertion units on the ball joint, to conveniently install cable strands, to be assembled with a cardan base, connection nut, ball joint cardan, and wedge mounting unit, to make it convenient to insert the cable strands, to increase a work efficiency, to remove only some of the cable strands installed on the wedge mounting unit from among a plurality of cable strands coated with a polyethylene (PE) sheath, and to prevent a corrosion resistance from decreasing.
사장교나 엑스트라도즈교의 주탑에 설치되는 분리형 새들(Saddle)로서, 케이블 스트랜드를 개별적으로 원형강관에 분산 삽입하여 분리형 새들 내부의 스트랜드 사이의 압축응력 및 프레팅 피로 현상을 없앨 수 있고, 주탑에 유해한 균열을 유도하는 응력집중현상을 현저히 줄여서 분산시킬 수 있으며, 또한, 볼조인트에 테이퍼(Taper) 형상의 스트랜드 삽입구를 마련함으로써 케이블 스트랜드를 간편하게 설치할 수 있고, 카르단 베이스, 연결너트, 볼조인트 카르단, 및 웨지정착구 구조로 조립됨으로써 케이블 스트랜드의 삽입 작업이 편리하고 작업효율성을 높일 수 있으며 또한, 폴리에틸렌(PE) 피복으로 피복된 다수의 케이블 스트랜드 중에서 웨지정착구에 설치된 케이블 스트랜드 일부만 제거함으로써 부식저항성능이 감소하는 것을 방지할 수 있는, 볼조인트 카르단과 웨지정착구를 이용한 케이블 정착장치 및 그 시공방법이 제공된다.
