Asphalt modifier and modified asphalt composition comprising the same
The present invention relates to an asphalt modifier and a modified asphalt composition. The asphalt modifier used for road pavement is prepared by using non-polar polyurethane as a base to have good compatibility when being mixed with asphalt, and improves commonality of the asphalt by enhancing rubber elastic properties by mixing 5 to 15% of a non-polar modifier with the asphalt to increase the strength at high temperature and brittleness at low temperature. In addition, the modifier has excellent adhesive strength with usage aggregate and a steel slag to improve durability, prevents plastic deformation in summer, and can prevent cracks in winder.
본 발명은 도로 포장 등에 사용되는 아스팔트 개질제로서 아스팔트에 혼합시 상용성이 좋도록 비극성 폴리우레탄을 base로 한 개질제를 제조하였으며, 이러한 비극성 개질제를 아스팔트에 5~15% 혼합하여 고온에서의 강성과, 저온에서의 취성을 증가시켜 고무탄성적인 성질을 보강하여 아스팔트의 공용성을 향상시키는 것이다. 또한, 이 개질제는 사용 골재 및 제강슬러그와 접착력이 우수하여 내구성을 향상시키고, 여름철에는 소성 변형을 방지하며, 겨울철에는 균열을 예방할 수 있는 개질 아스팔트 조성물에 관한 것이다.
