The present invention relates to an automatic opening and closing device for a door. The automatic opening and closing device for a door comprises: a fixing column installed in a vertical side of a door frame of an entrance; a rotating column installed in the fixing column and including a pair of supports supporting a door at a position separated from both ends in the widthwise direction to the inner side to rotate the door; a connector housing fixed to the fixing column and including a hinge coupling unit coupling the rotating column to rotate; a rotation driving unit installed in the upper support of the rotating column and transferring a driving force rotating the rotating column and the door; and a control unit installed in the door or a door frame of the entrance and operating the rotation driving unit. Therefore, the automatic opening and closing device for a door fundamentally prevents a risk of an accident in which a person collides with the door when the person is within a rotation radius of opening the door.
