According to various embodiments, disclosed is a drain odor blocking device. The drain odor blocking device includes: a plate placed around a drain, and including a first opening; a housing including a pair of first sides placed on the edge of the first opening and a second side inclined at a set angle on the other side of the first sides, and a second opening connected with the first opening and formed on the second side; a first drain plate placed in response to the first opening, and opening or closing at least one part of the second opening depending on external force; a first bracket assembly having one side combined with the second side and having the other side combined with the first drain plate, and moving the other side depending on the external force delivered from the first drain plate; and a tow assembly having one side placed on one side of the second side and having the other side slid along the other side of the first bracket assembly, and set in a pull or push state depending on the direction of the sliding movement. Besides, the other embodiments identified in the document are possible. Therefore, the drain odor blocking device is capable of enabling a drain plate to be smoothly opened or closed.
