Disclosed is a safety harness (1) for an industrial site which prevents serious accidents in which workers collide against the ground. The safety harness (1) for an industrial site comprises: a waist belt (10); a shoulder strap (30) connected to the waist belt (10); a D-ring (40) installed in the middle of the waist belt (10); a lanyard (100) connected to the waist belt (10) by the D-ring (40), and including a shock absorber (120) including an upper string overlapped in multiple layers and absorbing impact force transmitted to a worker by allowing the upper string to be spread by a load of the worker when the worker falls, a lower string (140) connected to a lower portion of the shock absorber (120), and a hook (160) connected to the lower string (140) and used by hanging on a structure of an industrial site; and an auxiliary lanyard (200) connected to the waist belt (10) or the lanyard (100) and used by hanging on the structure of the industrial site instead of the lanyard (100) if a distance between the ground and the falling worker, which is allowed by the lanyard (100), is equal to or less than a predetermined safety distance.
