The present invention relates to a foreign substance removal device to be installed in the intake port of a power plant, which is installed in the intake port of a power plant where the seawater is introduced, thereby filtering out incoming marine organisms or various garbage. 본 발명은 발전소의 해수가 유입되는 취수구에 설치되어 유입되는 해양생물이나 각종 쓰레기 등을 걸러내기 위한 이물질 제거장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 걸름망의 상하 회동 구조를 통해 걸러진 이물질을 해상으로 이송 및 회수가 가능하게 함으로써, 해양생물(해초 등의 해조류)이나 각종 쓰레기 등을 걸러내기 위한 이물질의 걸름 작동과 걸러진 이물질의 간편하고 신속한 회수가 가능하게 하며, 또한, 구동체인의 안정적인 지지 구조 및 회수 트레이와의 간섭이 방지되게 구성함으로써, 해수 압력의 저항력 확보와, 회수 트레이와의 간섭으로 인한 고장을 방지하며, 또한, 걸름망의 소정 유동 구조를 이루게 구성함으로써, 상단에서 뒤집어지는 과정에서 충격을 주어 이물질의 안정된 배출이 가능하게 하며, 또한, 물 분사를 통해 해상으로 올라온 걸름망에 물을 분사함으로써, 이물질이 걸름망에 흡착된 이물질을 안정적으로 제거 및 이에 따른 이물질의 안정적인 회수가 가능하게 하기 위한 발전소 취수구 설치용 이물질 제거장치에 관한 것이다.
