본 발명은 액체 방수재 및 이를 이용한 방수 시공 방법이 제공한다. 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따르면, 40% 이하의 시멘트; 70% 이하의 잔골재; 50% 이하의 폴리머(polymer); 1% 이하의 증점제; 및 1% 이하의 유동화제를 포함하고. 폴리머는 비닐아세데이트(vinyl acetate)와 에틸렌(ethylene) 및 비닐네오데카네이트(vinyl neodecanate)의 중합체인 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 방수재가 제공된다. 본 발명에 따르면, 액체 방수재가 탄성을 가지고 있어 균열이 발생되어도 방수 효과가 크게 저하되지 않는 이점이 있고, 또한, 액체 방수재가 원래 가지는 경제성과 시공의 편의성은 유지하면서도 추가적인 도막 방수 시공 등이 필요하지 않아 경제적이고 공사 시간도 단축할 수 있으며, 방수층의 두께를 일정하게 하여 균일한 방수 성능을 발휘할 수 있다.
