Provided are a screen door in which emergency doors are installed on both sides of a movable door and a method of opening the emergency door. According to the present invention, by installing the emergency doors on both sides of the movable door of a screen door, the emergency door is maintained in a fixed state during normal times, and in case of a disaster, it is converted into an emergency door and opened to quickly respond to train disasters. In addition, by installing sound-absorbing materials and perforated plates in an upper machine room and a lower panel of the screen door, noise caused by train operation and noise caused by the operation of the screen door can be reduced.
