PEDESTRIAN SAFETY SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a pedestrian safety system capable of protecting pedestrian safety by informing a vehicle driver of a road through which a vehicle will pass in advance, and information about pedestrians around the road. The pedestrian safety system includes: a pedestrian detection system installed in a pedestrian waiting area on a sidewalk adjacent to a crosswalk; and a pedestrian safety notification system which can detect a driving vehicle in a vehicle detection area which is an area within the road with the crosswalk, and is installed in a position where the vehicle driver can see it.
본 발명의 실시예들은 차량이 앞으로 지나가게 될 도로 또는 그 주변에서의 보행자 정보를 차량 운전자에게 미리 안내해줌으로써, 보행자 안전을 지켜줄 수 있는 보행자 안전 시스템에 관한 것이다.
