The present invention provides a snow melting system capable of providing a system structure which prevents a heating cable from being damaged even if the surface layer of a road is damaged. According to one aspect of the present invention, the snow melting system comprises: a heating cable burying unit having a heating cable arranged and buried in a base layer underneath the surface layer of a road in a width of 1m based on a vehicle wheel aligning line of the road surface; a control box including a switching unit controlling the supply of power to the heating cable by on/off and a control unit controlling the supply of the power; a road surface temperature and humidity sensor unit including a road surface thermometer installed on the upper surface of the road to sense the temperature of the road surface and a road surface hygrometer sensing the humidity of the road surface; and an air temperature and humidity sensor unit including an air thermometer installed at a prescribed height above the ground to sense the temperature in air and an air hygrometer. The heating cable of the heating cable burying unit is buried in the base layer at a depth of 40-70mm from the surface of the road.
