Provided is a method for preparing a calcium aluminate inorganic material. The method for preparing a calcium aluminate inorganic material may comprise the steps of: mixing a first source material comprising calcium oxide (CaO) and a second source material comprising aluminum oxide (Al2O3) to prepare a base source; and heat-treating the base source to prepare a calcium aluminate-based inorganic material comprising a first calcium aluminate inorganic material, and a second calcium aluminate inorganic material having a higher aluminum oxide content than the first calcium aluminate inorganic material.
