The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for sensing the occurrence of flooding and a water leak. In accordance with the present invention, for example, in order to solve problems of existing manholes with limitations with which a small defect cannot be effectively prevented from leading to the occurrence of a big accident such as a large-scale power failure, a loss of communication or the like when flooding or a water leak occurs in a manhole in which various facilities or systems such as underground power lines, communication cables and pipes are buried, the flooding and water leak sensing apparatus includes a terminal part for sensing the occurrence of flooding or a water leak, a logic circuit such as a NAND gate, and a microcontroller (MCU), thereby reporting the occurrence of flooding and a water leak to a predetermined contact point such as an officer or a control center, and the apparatus is integrated with a manhole cover. Therefore, the present invention is capable of promptly sensing the occurrence of flooding and a water leak in a manhole and leading a user to perform repair work through a simple composition at a low cost, thereby preventing an accident caused by the flooding and the water leak in the manhole and minimizing damage.
본 발명은 침수 및 누수 발생을 감지하기 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, 예를 들면, 지하 전력선이나 통신선 및 배관 등과 같이, 다양한 시설이나 설비가 매설되어 있는 맨홀 내부에 침수나 누수가 발생하는 경우 이를 즉각적으로 파악하고 대처할 수 있도록 하기 위한 별도의 장치나 수단이 구비되어 있지 않음으로 인해 작은 결함이 대규모 정전이나 통신두절 등과 같은 대형 사고로 이어지는 것을 효과적으로 방지할 수 없는 한계가 있었던 종래기술의 맨홀들의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 침수나 누수 발생을 감지하기 위한 단자부와, NAND 게이트와 같은 논리회로 및 마이크로컨트롤러(MCU)를 포함하여 침수 및 누수 발생시 담당자나 관제센터와 같이 미리 정해진 연락처에 통보하는 처리가 수행되도록 구성되는 침수 및 누수 감지장치를 맨홀 뚜껑에 일체화하여 형성하도록 구성됨으로써, 간단한 구성 및 저렴한 비용으로 맨홀 내부에 침수나 누수 발생시 이를 즉각적으로 감지하고 유지보수를 행하도록 하여 맨홀 내부에 침수나 누수로 인한 사고를 미연에 방지하고 피해를 최소화할 수 있도록 구성되는 침수 및 누수 감지장치 및 이를 이용하여 침수 및 누수 감지기능을 가지는 맨홀뚜껑이 제공된다.
