The present invention relates to a method for preparing a porous carbon structure which includes a step of carbonizing pitch without a template, and a porous carbon structure prepared according to the preparation method of the above-mentioned porous carbon structure. According to the present invention, the porous carbon structure having pores of uniform sizes can be provided.
