A stone mattress installation apparatus is to install a stone mattress apparatus which includes: a lower wire net installed on the ground and having a construction stone placed thereon; an upper wire net which is installed to cover the construction stone, and provided at a wire intersection of the wire net to provide a coupling piece having a through hole through which a wire is double penetrated; and a stone mattress fixing unit which fixes the lower wire net and the upper wire net and is fixed to a coupling piece located in the space between the construction stones among the coupling pieces provided on the upper wire net. The stone mattress installation apparatus comprises: a device body having a handle; a coupler installed on the device body and connected to the stone mattress fixing unit; a drive motor unit for driving the coupler; a switch unit which controls the operation of the drive motor unit; a torque sensor unit which detects torque transmitted through the coupler; and a control unit which controls the drive motor unit to stop, when the torque value sensed by the torque sensor unit exceeds a set standard. The present invention can shorten the installation and construction time of the stone mattress device.
