본 발명은 제스쳐 센서를 이용한 수전장치에 관한 것으로서, 외부로부터 물이 유입되는 연결관이 설치된 수전몸체; 상기 수전몸체와 연결되어 물이 토출되는 토수구; 상기 수전몸체의 내부에 설치되어 물이 토출되거나 토출되지 않도록 조절하는 개폐밸브; 사용자의 제스쳐를 감지하여 감지신호를 생성하는 제스쳐 센서; 및 상기 제스쳐 센서의 신호에 따라 상기 개폐벨브를 제어하는 제어부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면 사용자가 수전과 직접 접촉하지 않고도 사용자의 제스쳐를 감지하여 물의 토출 여부를 제어할 수 있고, 각 제스쳐에 대응하여 사용자가 원하는 만큼의 물을 정확히 토출하도록 수전장치를 제어함과 동시에 사용자가 실시간으로 토출되는 물의 양을 확인할 수 있다.
The present invention relates to a faucet apparatus using a gesture sensor, which includes: a faucet body installed with a connecting pipe in which water is introduced from the outside; a water discharge hole connected to the faucet body so that water is discharged; an opening and closing valve installed in the faucet body to control water to be discharged or not to be discharged; a gesture sensor sensing a user′s gesture and generating a sensing signal; and a control unit controlling the opening and closing valve in accordance with the signal of the gesture sensor. According to the present invention, the user can detect the user′s gesture without directly coming in contact with the faucet to control whether the water is discharged, control the faucet apparatus so as to exactly discharge the water as much as the user′s desired amount by corresponding to each gesture, and identify the amount of the water discharged in real time.
