The present invention relates to a locking device of a vehicle glove box installed on a dashboard inside a vehicle to store various items. The locking device of a vehicle glove box provides a new type of a glove box locking mechanism, wherein a knob and a locking system are provided outside the glove box unlike an existing glove box locking mechanism to increase the storage capacity of the glove box and to reduce the weight of the locking device. Therefore, the locking device of a vehicle glove box has a simple and light structure and allows an increase in the storage capacity of the glove box.
