The present invention relates to a drain trench comprising a catch basin (10), a grating (15), and so on. A floating unit (30), opening and closing a connection pipe (40) by being floated by buoyancy, is embedded in the connection pipe (40) connecting the catch basin (10) with a drain pipe (17), but a ring-shaped undercurrent part (43) and a ring-shaped support step (42) are formed in an inner lower part of the connection pipe (40) as the bottom of the connection pipe (40) is curved inside, and therefore, the floating unit (30) is prevented from being fixed, and sufficient buoyancy is given to the floating unit (30). A vertical rod (31), protruding in an upper direction, is attached to an upper part of the floating unit (30) and an inducing pipe (22), including an inducing hole (21) having an inner diameter matched with the diameter of the vertical rod (31), is formed in a central part of a screen (20) combined with an upper part of the connection pipe (40), and therefore, the stable floating operation of the floating unit (30) is guaranteed and an unnecessary vibration, made during a floating procedure of the floating unit (30), is suppressed. According to the present invention, the floating unit (30) is prevented from being fixed in the connection pipe (40), the stability of the floating unit (30) is secured, and vibrations and impacts, made to the floating unit (30) during a drain procedure, are minimized, and therefore, the drain performance of the drain trench is improved while the durability of the drain trench as well as the floating unit (30) is improved.
