SOIL RETAINING WALL AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides an earth retaining structure, and a construction method thereof. The earth retaining structure comprises: a first vertical member (100) to support an earth retaining wall; a second vertical member provided on a rear side of the first vertical member (100); a truss member (600) provided on an upper area of a space between the first and second vertical members (100, 200) in a vertical direction at intervals; an earth and sand charging part (10) charged with earth and sand on a lower area of the truss members (600); and a tensile member (700) to connect the first and second vertical members (200) together. As such, the earth retaining structure resists a pressure of the earth and sand on a rear side during in-depth bed excavation; inhibits an overall deflection; facilitates a construction; and reduces construction costs and period.
