본 발명은 건축용 단열재에 관한 것으로, 특히 두께가 매우 얇으면서도 단열은 물론 흡음과 난연 효과 및 취급이 매우 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 거푸집을 설치하고 콘크리트를 타설시 일면에 등 간격으로 형성된 홈으로 콘크리트가 채워져 콘크리트와 밀착이 잘 이루어지는 한편, 불필요하게 샷시와 벽체가 너무 두꺼워지지 않도록 된 건축용 단열재에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 건축용 단열재(1000)는, 가로와 세로방향으로 일정한 길이와 두께의 스티로폼(1100)의 넓은 전면(1110)과 배면(1120)에 각각 은박지(1200)가 접착되어 구비되되, 상기 전면(1110) 또는 배면(1120)에 은박지(1200)가 부착된 상태에서 일정 한 등간격으로 홈(1130)이 형성되고, 상기 홈(1130)은, 상기 은박지(1200)의 일정한 폭의 절취부(1131)와, 스티로폼(1100)의 일정한 폭과 일정 깊이까지 홈부(1132)가 형성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
