HEIGHT ADJUSTING APPARATUS FOR MANHOLE COVER

The present invention relates to an apparatus for adjusting the height of a manhole cover. A lift frame (20) having a cover securing end (26)b on which a manhole cover (20′) is secured, is secured on an upper end of a lift rod (54) of a lift drive unit (40). The lift drive unit (40) allows the lift frame (20) to ascend or descend by concurrently mounting the lift rods (54) ascending or descending with the rotation of a sprocket (44) after the sprocket (44) is concurrently rotated by a chain (50) hung and wound on several sprockets (44). The lift drive unit (40) is covered by a cover (38) and is not exposed to the outside. The lift drive unit (40) is installed on a base (30) secured on the upper surface of a valve chamber body (12). According to the present invention, as only the lift frame (20), where the manhole cover (20′) is secured, is secured on the lift rod (54) and ascends or descends while secured, the lift drive unit (40) is positioned in the fixing part and can be stably operated. The lift frame (20) is separated and the cover (38) is removed to allow the easy access to the lift drive unit (40), thereby simplifying the assembly, maintenance, and repair.

본 발명은 맨홀뚜껑의 높이조절장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 맨홀뚜껑(20')이 안착되는 뚜껑안착단(26)이 형성되는 승강프레임(20)이 승강구동기구(40)의 승강봉(54) 상단에 안착된다. 상기 승강구동기구(40)는 다수개의 스프라켓(44)에 걸어감아지는 체인(50)에 의해 스프라켓(44)이 동시에 회전되어 상기 스프라켓(44)의 회전에 의해 승강되는 상기 승강봉(54)들이 동시에 동작되어 상기 승강프레임(20)이 승강하도록 한다. 상기 승강구동기구(40)는 커버(38)에 의해 차폐되어 외부에서 보이지 않도록 된다. 상기 승강구동기구(40)는 밸브실몸체(12)의 상단면에 안착되는 베이스(30) 상에 설치되어 있다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면 맨홀뚜껑(20')이 안착되는 승강프레임(20)만이 승강봉(54)에 안착된 상태에서 승강되므로 승강구동기구(40)가 고정부에 위치되어 동작이 안정적으로 이루어질 수 있고, 승강프레임(20)만을 분리하고 커버(38)를 제거하면 승강구동기구(40)에 쉽게 접근할 수 있어 조립 및 유지보수가 간단하게 되는 이점이 있다.
