PILES WITH AN EXTENDED HEAD AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a head-expandable pile and a construction method thereof, capable of highly increasing the allowable bearing capacity of the pile by forming a pile expansion part while quickly cutting the ground around a pile head by expanding in various beds using a simple device instead of an expanding drill. The head-expandable pile comprises: a pile body; and a diameter expanding unit coupled to the lower part of the pile body and having a diameter expanded by a pressing body while rotating with the rotation of the pile body. The diameter expanding unit comprises: a base member; a guide pipe integrally protruding from the top center of the base member and having an upper part opened to allow the pressing body to enter into the upper part and multiple access holes on the outer circumference; coupling members to fixate the guide pipe inside the pile body; and expandable bodies arranged between the base member and the lower part of the pile body and having a wing part with a cut unit on the outer surface and a pressing part to expand the wing part to the outside while being slid to the outside of the guide pipe by the press of the pressing body.
본 발명은 별도의 확공드릴 없이 간단한 장비를 이용하여 다양한 지층에서 신속하게 말뚝 선단 지반을 확경 절삭함과 동시에 말뚝 확대부를 형성함으로써, 말뚝의 허용지지력을 크게 증가시킬 수 있는 선단 확장형 말뚝 및 이의 시공 방법에 대한 것이다. 본 발명의 선단 확장형 말뚝은 말뚝 본체, 말뚝 본체 하부에 결합되어 말뚝 본체의 회전과 함께 회전되면서 가압체에 의해 지름이 확장되는 확경구로 구성되는 것으로, 상기 확경구는, 베이스부재; 상기 베이스부재 중앙 상면에 일체로 돌출 형성되는 것으로 상부에서 가압체가 진입할 수 있도록 상부가 개방되고 외주면에 복수의 진출입공이 형성된 가이드관; 상기 가이드관을 말뚝 본체 내부에 고정 결합하는 결합부재; 및 상기 베이스부재와 말뚝 본체 하부 사이에 구비되는 것으로 외측에 절삭구가 형성된 날개부 및 상기 날개부 후단에 구비되어 일단이 상기 가이드관의 진출입공을 관통하여 가이드관 내에 위치하는 것으로 가압체의 가압에 의해 가이드관 외부로 슬라이딩 이동함으로써 날개부를 외부로 확장하는 가압부로 구성되는 확장체; 로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
