The present invention relates to a car line thawing system, and a thawing method using the same. The car line thawing system prevents unstable operation of a service device and a power failure due to shutoff of current collection by thawing a car line by power of a propulsion inverter without installing an additional device to prevent a power shutoff phenomenon due to thawing the car line of an electric rail car in the winter. The car line thawing system comprises: a propulsion inverter control unit, a chopper circuit unit, a braking resistor, and a current collector.

본 발명은 전동차의 동절기 전차선 결빙에 의한 전원 차단 현상을 방지하기 위해 추가적인 장치의 설치 없이 추진인버터 소비 전력에 의해 전차선을 해빙하여 집전 차단에 의한 동력 상실 및 서비스 기기의 불안정 동작을 방지할 수 있는 전차선 해빙 시스템 및 이를 이용한 해빙 방법에 관한 것이다.
