RED ENGOBE FOR RAKU CERAMIC WARE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to an engobe which exhibits a specific color among engobes used for a patterning and expressive technique during a pottery manufacturing process; and to a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a red engobe which exhibits the same color as a red color exhibited in a Japanese native red Raku tea bowl, or the similar color to the red color; and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the red engobe is obtained by mixing 100 parts by weight of white kaolin which is native to Hadong in Korea, 5 parts by weight of goethite, and 9 parts by weight of wustite. The red engobe exhibits a red color which is greatly similar to that of a red Raku tea bowl, wherein L*, a*, and b* values of the red color are 56.83, 27.22, and 23.28 respectively, as a result of UV measurement.
본 발명은 도자기 제작공정 중 문양 및 표현기법에서 사용되는 화장토 중에서 특정한 색을 발색하는 화장토와 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 더욱 상세하게는 일본 고유의 적색 라꾸 다완에서 발색되는 적색과 동일하거나 유사한 색상을 발색하는 적색 화장토 및 그 제조방법을 제공하는 것이 목적이다. 상기와 같은 본 발명에 따르면, 하동 백색 고령토(White Kaolin) 100 중량부에 침철석(Goethite)을 5 중량부와 우스타이트(Wustite)를 9 중량부를 혼합하여, 적색 라꾸 다완의 적색과 매우 유사한 적색인, UV측정결과(L*a*b*) 값이 각각 56.83, 27.22, 23.28인 적색을 발색하는 화장토를 얻을 수 있었다.
