Vermiculite board and the manufacturing method thereof

The present invention relates to a vermiculite board having chemical resistance and water resistance, and to a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, a waterproof coating method of expanded vermiculite comprises the following steps of: forming a waterproof coating on a surface of expanded vermiculite by spraying a coating agent formed by mixing water, polyvinyl alcohol, and aluminum sulfate to the surface; forming a curable thin film layer on a surface of the expanded vermiculite by spraying a neutralizing agent formed by mixing water, aluminum hydroxide, and sodium aluminate to the surface; and mixing the expanded vermiculite with a binder. The vermiculite board has fire resistance and waterproofing properties.

본 발명은 질석 보드 및 이의 제작 방법에 관한 것으로서, 내화성 뿐만 아니라 내수성도 향상되어 건물의 외장재 또는 선박 등에도 사용이 가능한 질석 보드 및 이의 제작 방법에 관한 것이다.
