Silicon Based Ceramic with Crystalline Zircon Coating and Method for Manufacturing the Same
The present invention relates to a silicon based ceramic coated with crystalline zircon and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, a silicon oxide layer is formed on a surface of a silicon-containing substrate or an appropriate surface roughness is applied on the surface of the silicon-containing substrate and then, zircon is coated thereto. Thus, it is possible to easily manufacture a silicon-based ceramic exhibiting excellent high temperature characteristics and corrosion resistance including oxidation resistance and apply the ceramic to products such as aviation parts or the like.
본 발명은 결정질 지르콘이 코팅된 규소계 세라믹, 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 규소 함유 기재의 표면에 산화규소층을 형성하거나 규소 함유 기재의 표면에 적절한 표면거칠기를 부여한 후 지르콘을 코팅함으로써, 우수한 고온 특성과 내산화성을 포함한 내부식성을 나타내는 규소계 세라믹을 용이하게 제조할 수 있고, 항공부품 등의 제품에 유용하게 활용할 수 있다.

The present invention relates to a silicon based ceramic coated with crystalline zircon and a method for manufacturing the same. 본 발명은 결정질 지르콘이 코팅된 규소계 세라믹, 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 규소 함유 기재의 표면에 산화규소층을 형성하거나 규소 함유 기재의 표면에 적절한 표면거칠기를 부여한 후 지르콘을 코팅함으로써, 우수한 고온 특성과 내산화성을 포함한 내부식성을 나타내는 규소계 세라믹을 용이하게 제조할 수 있고, 항공부품 등의 제품에 유용하게 활용할 수 있다.
