The present invention relates to a vertical frame of a door frame including horizontal frames disposed above and below a door panel and vertical frames disposed on the left and right of the door panel. The vertical frame of a door frame comprises: a hinge engagement portion formed on a central portion for rotating and mounting a door panel to an external structure; an internal main body frame made of metal material comprising a support portion extending outward from an outer surface of the hinge engagement portion; and an outer frame for accommodating the internal main body frame and provided with the support portion to be supported on an inner surface thereof to restrict movement of the inner main body frame. The inner main body frame is slid-coupled to the inside of the outer frame in a longitudinal direction thereof. The present invention provides a vertical frame for finishing both left and right sides of a door panel with minimal materials.
