The present invention relates to an apparatus to dispose food waste, comprising: a food waste pulverizer to pulverize the food waste discharged from a drain of a sink containing moisture; a microorganism processor using microorganisms to decompose solid parts among pulverized matters pulverized in the food waste pulverizer; a connection pipe to transfer the pulverized matters to the microorganism processor from the food waste pulverizer; and a pulverized matter separator installed in an upper part of the microorganism processor and connected to the connection pipe to separate the solid parts among the pulverized matters supplied through the connection pipe, to transfer the solid parts to the processor, and to discharge the moisture. Accordingly, since food waste is pulverized and the moisture is separated from the solid parts of the pulverized food waste, only the solid parts are inserted into the microorganism processor such that waste decomposition by the microorganisms are smoothly performed; and a problem of killing microorganisms by salt contained in the moisture is able to be prevented.
본 발명은 음식물 쓰레기 처리 장치에 관한 것으로, 싱크대의 배수구로부터 배출되는 수분을 포함하는 음식물 쓰레기를 분쇄하는 음식물 쓰레기 분쇄기와, 상기 음식물 쓰레기 분쇄기에 분쇄된 분쇄물 중 고형분을 미생물을 이용하여 분해하는 미생물 처리기와, 상기 음식물 쓰레기 분쇄기로부터의 상기 분쇄물을 상기 미생물 처리기로 이동시키는 연결관과, 상기 미생물 처리기의 상부에 설치되고, 상기 연결관과 연결되어 상기 연결관을 통해 유입되는 상기 분쇄물 중 상기 고형분과 수분을 분리하여 상기 고형분을 상기 미생물 처리기로 이동시키고 상기 수분을 배출시키는 분쇄물 분리기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 따라, 음식물 쓰레기를 분쇄하고 분쇄된 음식물 쓰레기의 고형분으로부터 수분을 분리하여 고형분만을 미생물 처리기로 투입함으로써 미생물에 의한 쓰레기 분해가 원활하게 이루어지고 수분에 포함된 염분으로 미생물이 사멸되는 등의 문제점을 막을 수 있다.
