Provided is a method for fabricating a porous ceramic ball, which can adjust at least one among sintering shrinkage, water absorption, flexural strength and apparent porosity of the ceramic ball. The method for fabricating the porous ceramic ball comprises the steps of: preparing raw materials including porous diatomite with nanopores, sepiolite having an acicular structure, and raw clay and bentonite having a layered structure; mixing and pulverizing the raw materials in a wet manner; filtering the mixed and pulverized raw materials; performing filter press operation for the filtered raw materials to produce source cakes; pulverizing and filtering the source cakes to produce source powder; making the source powder granular to produce ceramic balls; and sintering the ceramic balls.

다공성 세라믹 볼의 제조 방법이 제공된다. 상기 다공성 세라믹 볼의 제조 방법은, 나노포어(nanopore)를 갖고 있는 다공성의 규조토(硅藻土), 침상 구조(acicular structure)를 갖는 세피어라이트(sepiolite), 및 층상 구조(layered structure)를 갖는 원지 점토 및 벤토나이트(bentonite)를 포함하는 원료 물질을 준비하는 단계, 상기 원료 물질을 습식으로 혼합 및 분쇄하는 단계, 혼합 및 분쇄된 상기 원료 물질을 여과하는 단계, 여과된 상기 원료 물질을 필터 프레스(filter press)하여, 소스 케이크(source cake)을 제조하는 단계, 상기 소스 케이크를 분쇄 및 여과하여, 소스 분말(source powder)을 제조하는 단계, 상기 소스 분말을 과립하여, 세라믹 볼(ceramic ball)을 제조하는 단계, 및 상기 세라믹 볼을 소성하는 단계를 포함한다.
