The present invention provides an eco-friendly flooring material having pyrophyllite and ethylene vinyl acetate as main components. The present invention provides an eco-friendly flooring material which is simple in construction and does not generate toxic substances even in the event of a fire, thereby greatly reducing damage to people. The eco-friendly flooring material according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: pyrophyllite; ethylene vinyl acetate; water; sericite; a hardener; an organic thickener; a natural mineral inorganic antibacterial agent; and a glass fiber.
