The present invention relates to up-converting alpha-sialon ceramics, and more specifically, to alpha-sialon ceramics having transparency and up-converting properties in the visible light region and the infrared light region, quadruple-doped with ytterbium, erbium, holmium, and thulium, and a method for manufacturing the same. The up-converting alpha-sialon ceramics exhibits high-temperature stability and strength, exhibits luminescent properties in blue, green and red regions of the visible light region, has white light emission characteristics, and exhibits high infrared light transmission characteristics.
본 발명은 업컨버팅 알파사이알론 세라믹스에 관한 것으로서, 이터븀, 어븀, 홀뮴 및 툴륨이 사중 도핑된 가시광 영역과 적외광 영역에서 투광성 및 업컨버팅 특성을 가지는 알파사이알론 세라믹스 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 고온 안정성과 강도를 가지면서도 가시광 영역 중 청색, 녹색 및 적색 영역에서 모두 발광 특성을 나타내어 백색광 발광특성을 가지며, 높은 적외광 투과특성을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 한다.
