The present invention provides a hinge bracket device for a covering shelf to improve a sense of operation and fixing force of angle adjustment operation of the covering shelf in a trunk. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the hinge bracket device comprises: a coupling unit including a rotary shaft protruding from a side trim in the trunk toward the covering shelf, and protrusion parts formed on the front and rear parts of the rotary shaft; an outer bracket formed on the upper part of the coupling part to be detachably attached to the rotary shaft and the protrusion parts between the side trim and the covering shelf; and an inner bracket coupled to the outer bracket with the covering shelf interposed therebetween and having a bottom surface formed in a shape to cover a part of the top of the coupling part. When the outer bracket is rotatably coupled to rotary shaft, a portion ascending in accordance with a rotating direction is detached from the protrusion part and a descending portion is coupled to the protrusion part.
