본 발명은 지체 장애인 특히, 휠체어를 이용하는 지체 장애인이 근무지 또는 복지관 등의 시설이용 시 여닫이 문을 자동으로 개폐하는 자동개폐 보조장치를 제공함으로서 지체장애인의 근무 환경을 개선할 수 있고 지체 장애인의 주거 환경과 공공시설에서도 설치할 수 있기 때문에 지체 장애인에게 다양한 편의를 제공할 수 있다.
