The present invention provides a freeze preventing water meter socket, which can be used by being attached to a water meter without replacement of the conventionally installed water meter. For solving a problem of a conventional water meter freeze preventing device, the present invention provides the freeze preventing water meter socket. The socket coupled to one side of a water meter includes: a socket body coupled to the water meter so as to perforate a water hole on one side of the water meter and receive the water hole and having a predetermined inner diameter and a water outlet at one side; a shape memory alloy spring which is received in the socket body and of which one end is coupled to one side of the water meter; and a stopper coupled to the other end of the shape memory alloy spring and coupled to the inner diameter of the socket body while having predetermined inserted and fitted tolerance on the inner diameter of the socket body.
본 발명은 상술한 바와 같은 종래 기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 기존에 설치된 수도계량기를 교체하지 않고도 수도계량기에 부착하여 사용할 수 있는 동파방지 수도계량기 소켓을 제공한다. 본 발명은 종래 수도계량기 동파방지장치의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 수도계량기 일측에 결합되는 소켓에 있어서, 상기 수도계량기의 일측에 물구멍을 뚫고 상기 물구멍을 수용하도록 수도계량기에 결합되며, 소정의 내경을 가지며 일측에 물배출구를 구비한 소켓몸체와; 상기 소켓몸체 내부에 수용되며 상기 수도계량기 일측에 그 일단이 결합되는 형상기억합금 스프링 및; 상기 형상기억합금 스프링의 타단에 결합되며 상기 소켓몸체의 내경에 소정의 끼워맞춤 공차를 가지고 결합되는 마개;를 포함하여 구성되는 동파방지 수도계량기 소켓을 제공한다.
