The present invention discloses a waterproof material including ferrate. In one aspect of the present invention, the waterproof material including the ferrate allows waterproof performance to be implemented only when reacting to pollution sources so that flow of underground water is not disturbed when the pollution sources are not leaked. In addition, the waterproof material is harmless to an underground environment even when components forming the waterproof material are leaked to the outside of the waterproof material.
