The present invention relates to a drain trap for a washstand. 본 발명은 세면대용 배수트랩에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 세면대용 배수트랩은 세면대용 배수트랩에 있어서, 세면대의 배수구와 연통되는 하류관과 주름관이 연결되는 상류관이 격벽에 의해 분할되어 'U' 형태로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이때, 상기 하류관의 직경이 상류관의 직경보다 크게 형성된다. 또한, 상기 하류관과 상류관을 연결하는 반원 형태의 개폐구는 투명재질로 형성되되 일측이 상류관과 힌지결합되고, 타측에는 쐐기형태의 고정구가 형성되어 상류관의 타측에 형성된 걸림구에 개폐 가능하게 결합된다. 그리고, 상기 하류관의 상부 내주면에는 경사턱이 형성되어 배수관이 억지 끼움되고, 상기 하류관의 단부는 일측으로 절곡되어 주름관이 삽입될 수 있도록 삽입홈이 형성되고, 'C'자 형태의 고정판이 결합되어 주름관의 골에 삽입된다. 이에 따르면, 협소한 장소에서도 배수트랩의 조립이 매우 간편하고 배수트랩에 축적되는 이물질을 간편하고 신속히 배출할 수 있음은 물론 배수 유속을 증가시켜 잔류 이물질을 최소화하는 효과가 있다.
