To this end, the protecting fence for an opening unit, which blocks by defining a boundary at the edge of the upper surface of an opening unit, comprises: a plurality of vertical posts having an upper shaft and a lower shaft to be aligned at a predetermined interval along the edge of the upper surface of the opening unit; a plurality of upper link bars having an upper knuckle at both sides to be rotatably and successively coupled to the upper shaft of the adjacent vertical posts at both sides; a plurality of lower link bars having a lower knuckle at both sides to be rotatably and successively coupled to the lower shaft of the adjacent vertical posts at both sides; and a safety net coupled between the vertical posts, the upper link bars, and the lower link bars. Therefore, according to the present invention, the vertical posts, the upper link bars and the lower link bars can be disassembled and assembled to facilitate ease in carriage by reducing the volume, and allow the assembly and installation process to be conveniently performed on site.
