The present invention relates to a bad smell reduction device for a sewer which uses sewage as a bad smell blocking layer. A conventional sewer pipe (100) structure has a rainwater inlet (130) and a grating cover (200) to drain rainwater in the longitudinal direction of a road (110) adjacent to a sidewalk (120). The bad smell reduction device for a sewer comprises: an inlet pipe (10) installed on a lower portion of the grating cover (200); and a housing (30) for sewage storage installed on a lower portion of the inlet pipe (10) in response to the shape of the inlet pipe (10) to receive the inlet pipe (10). The housing (30) has a blocking sewage layer (20) wherein the upper side thereof is opened, the lower side thereof is blocked, and overflow ports (32) are formed on four surfaces thereof at positions of a prescribed height from the bottom surface (36) of the housing (30) to store sewage (XX) and maintain a constant water level. Therefore, sewage uselessly flown away is used as the blocking sewage layer to obtain the effect of reliably blocking bad smells. In addition, the installation cost (budget) is low by securing a bad smell blocking facility. The blocking facility is efficient since a separate special technique is not applied to maintenance and management.
하수 자체를 악취 차단층으로 이용한 하수구의 악취저감 장치로서, 보도(120)에 인접하는 도로(110)의 길이방향을 따라 빗물을 배수하기 위하여 빗물 유입구(130), 그레이팅 커버(200)를 구비하여 이루는 통상의 하수관로(100) 구조에 있어서, 상기 그레이팅 커버(200)의 하부에 설치되는 유입관(10)과, 이 유입관(10)을 받아들이도록 이 유입관(10)의 형태에 대응하여 이 유입관(10)의 하부에 설치되는 하수저장용 함체(30)와, 상기 함체(30)는 윗쪽은 개방되고 아랫쪽은 막혀 있으며, 그 4면에는 이 함체(30)의 바닥면(36)으로부터 일정 높이의 위치에 월류구(32)가 형성되어, 하수(XX)를 보관하면서 일정 수위를 유지하는 차단 하수층(20)을 가진다. 따라서 무용하게 흘려 보내지는 하수 자체를 차단 하수층으로 이용함으로써, 확실한 악취 차단효과에 더하여 악취 차단 시설 확보에 따른 설치비용(예산)이 저렴하고 유지관리에 별다른 특별한 기술이 적용되지 않게 되어 효율성이 높은 차단시설이다.
