The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a VO2 film for a smart window that is flexible and can control infrared transmission. To this end, the manufacturing method includes: a first step of preparing a VOx solution doped with tungsten by mixing a vanadium oxide precursor and tungsten; a second step of uniformly applying the tungsten-doped VOx solution to a substrate to form a tungsten-doped VO thin film; a third step of thermally treating the tungsten-doped VOx thin film to form a tungsten-doped VO2 thin film; and a fourth step of cooling the tungsten-doped VO2 thin film and then compressing an adhesive polymer film to prepare a tungsten-doped VO2 film.
