According to one aspect of the present invention, a deployment device for deploying an object to be deployed in water comprises: a floating body; and a plurality of constituent hydrofoils supported on the floating body and arranged to be spaced apart from each other in the front-rear direction, wherein an aerofoil cross-section of each of the constituent hydrofoils partially overlaps with the outline of an aerofoil cross-section of a virtual hydrofoil set virtually.
