The present invention relates to a door closer assembly (2), which may comprise: a door closer (2) without an electric drive for closing a door; and a sensor unit (5) for detecting angle information on the opening angle of the door. The door closer includes an energy accumulator (26). The energy accumulator (26) can be charged by manually opening the door, and can be discharged to close the door.
