MANHOLE COVER ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a manhole cover assembly. In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, the manhole cover assembly includes: a manhole cover including a cover part, and an outward flange part formed along the outer circumference surface of the bottom of the cover part; a manhole frame including a coaming part, and an inward flange part formed along the inner circumference surface of the bottom of the coaming part to allow the outward flange part to be placed therein; a plurality of coupling members penetrating the outward flange part to be coupled with the inward flange part; and a gasket interposed between the manhole cover and the manhole frame. The gasket includes: a plate-shaped ring part placed on the inward flange part to support the outward flange part; a cylinder part extended upward from the outer end part of the plate-shaped ring part; and a plurality of elastic pieces bent from the top of the cylinder part to be placed on the outward flange part. Therefore, the present invention is capable of preventing stagnant water and corroded bolts.
