There has been a demand for a technique for imparting high light transmittance equivalent to that of natural tooth enamel to a zirconia sintered body. A zirconia cutting object for dental cutting and machining includes a yttrium compound and an indium compound as a stabilizer, and contains 3.0 to 6.0 mol% of the yttrium compound in an oxide concentration, 0.2 to 3.0 mol% of the indium compound in an oxide concentration, and 5.5 to 7.0 mol% of the sum of the yttrium compound and the indium compound in an oxide concentration.
