Disclosed are an apparatus for controlling a rear-seat passenger-based vehicle and a method thereof. The apparatus for controlling the rear-seat passenger-based vehicle of the present invention comprises: a rear passenger sensor sensing a passenger in a rear seat of the vehicle; a driving status detecting unit sensing a driving status of the vehicle; a door opening and closing unit which opens and closes a door of the vehicle; and a control unit which opens and closes the door by controlling the door opening and closing unit according to passenger detection information detected by the rear passenger sensor when the driving status of the vehicle sensed by the driving status detecting unit is a parking or stopping status. An objective of the present invention relates to the apparatus for controlling the rear-seat passenger-based capable of protecting the passenger of the rear seat, and the method thereof.
뒷좌석 승객 기반 차량 제어 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 뒷좌석 승객 기반 차량 제어 장치는 차량의 뒷좌석에 탑승한 승객을 감지하는 후방승객감지 센서; 차량의 주행 상태를 검출하는 주행상태 검출부; 차량의 도어를 개폐시키는 도어 개폐부; 및 주행상태 검출부에 의해 감지된 차량의 주행 상태가 주정차 상태이면, 후방승객감지 센서에 의해 감지된 승객감지정보에 따라 도어 개폐부를 제어하여 도어를 개폐시키는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
