바다에 떠있는 해양폐기물을 모을 수 있기 위한 도구에 있어서 상단부터 중단까지는 원통형, 중단부터 하단까지는 깔때기 형태를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 해파리 해양 쓰레기통은 상술한 바와 같이 띄염띄염 떨어져있는 해양 폐기물들을 한 곳으로 모아서 해양 생물들이 먹는 것을 방지 할 수 있다.
