The present invention relates to a tail gate opening and closing apparatus and a method thereof. According to the present invention, if a signal is authenticated in response to a tail gate open command, an obstacle located behind a vehicle is detected using a rear camera. Accordingly, opening and closing of a tail gate is controlled. Therefore, a collision with the obstacle or a pedestrian located behind is prevented, thereby preventing an accident. Additionally, the collision with the obstacle is prevented and damage to the vehicle due to the collision is prevented. Additionally, accuracy of obstacle sensing is improved by using the rear camera and a sensor. The tail gate opening and closing apparatus of the present invention comprises: the tail gate; a door driving unit; the camera; an image recognizing unit; a switch; and a control unit.
본 발명은 테일 게이트 개폐 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 테일 게이트 오픈 명령에 대응하여 인증된 신호인 경우, 후방의 카메라를 이용하여 차량의 후방에 위치하는 장애물을 감지하고 그에 따라 테일 게이트의 개폐를 제어함으로써 후방에 위치하는 장애물 또는 보행자와의 충돌을 방지하여 안전사고를 예방하고, 장애물과의 충돌을 방지하고 충돌에 의한 차량의 파손을 예방하며, 후방의 카메라와 센서를 이용함으로써 장애물 감지의 정확성을 향상시키는 효과가 있다.

The present invention relates to a tail gate opening and closing apparatus and a method thereof.
