The present invention relates to a flame arrester for protection of apartment balcony windows by using a fire prevention screen, which provides a structure that causes flames and high-temperature smoke, which is discharged from the balcony ceiling of an apartment where a fire has occurred to the outside and is about to rise, to flow horizontally a distance from the large windows of a balcony and raise the same. To achieve the above purpose, the flame arrester comprises: a frame (1) attached to the outer wall of a balcony; a case (2) coupled to the frame; a roller (4) rotatably installed on the frame; a fire-resistant coated silica cloth (5) forming a flame barrier; a case cover (3) coupled to the case; and an opening/closing device (6) connecting the frame and the case cover, horizontally unfolding or folding the fire-resistant coated silica cloth wound around the roller, and storing same. The flame arrester is installed to protrude on and be embedded in the outer wall surface of the balcony between the large windows of upper and lower floors, and enables the fire-resistant coated silica cloth to be unfolded horizontally. Therefore, the flame arrester can form a thick air layer outside balcony windows to safely protect view-type windows and the interior of the living room vulnerable to flames from radiant heat, thereby preventing the spread of fire and protecting valuable lives and properties.
본 발명은 방화스크린을 활용한 발코니창호 보호용 화염차단장치에 관한 것으로서, 화재가 발생된 아파트의 발코니 천정에서 외부로 배출되어 바로 상승하려는 화염과 고온의 연기들을 발코니의 대형 창호에서 일정한 이격 거리 까지 수평방향으로 흐르게 한 후, 상부로 상승시키는 구조를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 발코니 외벽에 결합되는 프레임(1)과; 프레임에 결합되는 케이스(2)와; 프레임에 회전 가능한 상태로 설치되는 롤러(4)와; 화염차단막을 형성하는 방화코팅된 실리카천(5)과; 케이스에 결합되는 케이스덮개(3)와; 프레임과 케이스덮개를 연결하고 롤러에 감긴 방화코팅된 실리카천을 수평으로 펼치거나 감아 수납하는 개폐장치(6);로 구성되고, 상하층의 대형 창호 사이 발코니 외벽 면에 돌출 및 매립하여 설치되어, 방화코팅된 실리카천이 수평방향으로 펼쳐지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 본 발명은 발코니창호 외부의 공기층을 두껍게 형성하여 화염에 취약한 조망형 창호와 거실내부를 복사열로부터 안전하게 보호하여 화재확산 방지 및 귀중한 인명과 재산을 보호하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
