The present invention relates to a slim type pleated filter, which can be applied to slim structures, such as showerheads, can secure a sufficient filtration area, thereby improving filtration performance, and can solve water-pressure reduction, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, provided is a slim type pleated filter which comprises: a filter cartridge including an upper case with a water passage opening on an upper side and a lower case with a water passage opening on a lower side; a pleated filter member provided to laterally divide the interior of the filter cartridge; and a fixing means formed inside the filter cartridge and configured to fix both ends of the pleated filter member.
본 발명은 샤워헤드와 같은 슬림한 구조체에 적용할 수 있으면서도, 충분한 여과 면적의 확보로 여과 성능을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 수압 감소를 개선할 수 있는 슬림형 플리티드 여과 필터 및 그의 제작 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 상측에 물 통과구가 형성되는 상부 케이스, 및 하면에 물 통과구가 형성되는 하부 케이스를 포함하는 필터 카트리지; 상기 필터 카트리지의 내부를 횡방향으로 구획하여 구비되는 플리티드(pleated) 필터 부재; 및 상기 필터 카트리지의 내부에 형성되어 상기 플리티드 필터 부재의 양단부를 고정시키도록 구성되는 고정 수단;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 슬림형 플리티드 여과 필터가 제공된다.
