[과제] 전동 모터, 유압 펌프, 및 작동유 탱크를 냉각하는 경우의 냉각 효율도 고려하면서, 콤팩트한 레이아웃이고, 또한 배터리 유닛의 대용량화도 용이해지는 전동식 작업 기계를 제공한다. [해결 수단] 전동식 작업 기계로서의 유압 셔블은 전동 모터와, 전동 모터를 구동하기 위한 전력을 축적하는 배터리 유닛과, 작동유를 수용하는 작동유 탱크와, 전동 모터에 의해 구동되고, 작동유 탱크와 접속되는 유압 펌프를 구비한다. 전동 모터, 유압 펌프, 및 작동유 탱크는 기체 프레임 상에서 배터리 유닛의 하방에 배치됨과 아울러, 기체 프레임의 가로 방향으로 나란히 배치된다.

[Problem] To provide an electric work machine having a compact layout and facilitating an increase in capacity of a battery unit while taking into consideration cooling efficiency when cooling an electric motor, a hydraulic pump, and a hydraulic oil tank.[Solution] A hydraulic excavator as an electric work machine includes: an electric motor; a battery unit that stores electric power for driving the electric motor; a hydraulic oil tank that contains hydraulic oil, and a hydraulic pump that is driven by the electric motor and connected to the hydraulic oil tank. The electric motor, the hydraulic pump, and the hydraulic oil tank are arranged below the battery unit on a machine body frame, and are arranged side by side in a lateral direction of the machine body frame.
