본 발명은 다중 구조를 갖는 전통 건축물용 외벽 단열재 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 천연 재료를 이용하여 친환경적임과 동시에 낮은 열관류율을 충족하여 단열성이 우수한 전통 건축물용 외벽 단열재 및 이의 시공방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 다중 구조를 갖는 전통 건축물용 외벽 단열재는 숯 단열층과; 상기 숯 단열층의 일면에 형성되는 제1우레탄층과; 상기 숯 단열층의 타면에 형성되는 제2우레탄층과; 상기 제1우레탄층의 일면에 형성되는 제1흙단열층과; 상기 제2우레탄층의 타면에 형성되는 제2흙단열층을 포함한다.
